This is an abstract piece that is bold in line and color. The negative space between the lines have a depth to them, while still be muted. Danielle describes the process, “I layered ink and acrylic and lastly pastel for the lines. My inspiration originally for this painting was a sunset. The original idea didn’t work for me, so I let go and drew lines that felt fluid and unforced. I lightly covered the ink to allow it to show through, dulling the vibrancy. The electricity now comes through the lines.” We love how this painting turned out and think it would look fantastic in any interior.
