‘Seaweed’ is a very whimsical, fluid piece. The lines are matte and patchy in places. While the painting appears to be very light in color, there are deeper colors underneath. Danielle explains her process, “I worked with this one for a while, layering lots of inks. After it dried I sprayed it down with water and drew the lines through. Next, I added the white acrylic paint as a final layer. The results were very pastel with an underwater quality to it. I couldn’t help but title it something playful, that always dances.” This would be a wonderful addition to any interior.
