This is a dreamy landscape painting. Rich, deep purples and velvety blues. The moon peeks out from behind soft pink clouds. The scene is a simple landscape, yet the colors and soft swirling paint allow us to imagine this setting. I often create images that seem both familiar and foreign. A common view point is turned on its head when I use colors not naturally found there. The point is to imagine, to wonder, and at the same time feel at home. A wonderful addition to any home.
