This painting was the kind of painting that I didn’t know what I was creating before starting it. I work intuitively with the materials and experiment and play more than have a specific goal in mind. I have not seen an aqua moon, but I can imagine it when I look at this painting. I used an under painting of dark blueish black to make the aqua and blue stand out. The pink sky is a surprise and adds to the dreamy aspect of this painting.
