This painting was created without an idea about the final image. I worked with the materials to allow these three figures to come to be. With my intuitive painting style, I often am surprised by what is created. More than one time, someone else has been able to explain a painting to me. This painting seems like something unseen. Each figure appears to completely different, with different aspects to their eyes. No one figure is able to see. The expression on each face is calm and does not give too much away. The cloak represents protection and safety. The main colors with this one are grey, black, and white. I used red and blue ink as the accent colors. Each figure is cloaked or covered, wrapped up together in safety and love.
