This is such and interesting painting! I did an under painting of ink and charcoal that you can see peeking through. Those original lines are what inspired the trunks of the trees. I often work with the material without having an idea of what the outcome will be, and allow the images to create themselves. The use of different materials adds dimension with the contrast of matte and acrylic. Added details of pink and white dot across the trees.
