The colors of this piece are deep and rich. Vibrant yellow and orange push against the deep blue green. ‘The Face Within’ is abstract enough to allow the viewer to decipher their own meaning, yet gives a clue to the artist’s interpretation. “I started this painting thinking about spring and growth and selected colors accordingly. As I worked, I kept seeing faces within the dripping ink. I tried to leave as much to the imagination as possible, but once you see a face that is all you see. Is there really a face at all?” Danielle has a wonderful imagination and it is evident in this piece. A bright and colorful inclusion to any decor.
