This painting was inspired by my time in Thailand. The jungle there is so vibrant and fantastical. It is at once welcoming and also menacing. If you step off of the trail for a moment, the jungle seems to surround and envelop you. The greenery swallows everything. You begin to want to be wrapped in foliage and earth.
