I love working with inks when I do landscapes. I like to add drops to create an almost underwater feel. It seems dreamlike and still retains movement. With the mountains and trees down below I used oil and scratched through it to create texture. Many times the sky is more interesting to me than the landscape. It appears like paint, blending and bleeding together. Then in a flash, it’s gone. This painting is a tribute to that kind of beauty.
