‘Heart Couple’

This print set includes one each of ‘Spilling your heart’ and ‘Reaching for love’.

‘Spilling your heart’ has a lot of movement and texture with the brushstrokes. The single line for the figure is simple yet descriptive. The blue is rich and dense with lots of brushstrokes. Danielle talks about her painting, “This painting is so cheerful and playful to me. It started out as just abstract color and the paint dried with what seemed to be the edge of a figure. If you look closely, there is a tiny heart spilling out of the figure. It just makes me smile.” It makes us smile too! This would be a great addition to any home.

‘Reaching for love’

In this image, the figure has an open mind. The heart is visible, yet hidden within. The figure reaches up, towards something unseen. It is hopeful and guarded. “I experiment with the material as I work and think about conversations and experiences I have had. This piece was created after discussing the idea of love and connecting to another person. This figure just popped up. Asking to be created. I see the figure as masculine, which is uncommon for me. The figures that come up most often for me are feminine.” Danielle explains. This is indeed a unique piece.
