This abstract landscape evokes a memory of a place seen, yet perhaps forgotten. “I was curious about whether or not a landscape could have the same power if the colors were reversed. What sort of feeling does a green sky produce? What if the blue of the sky was the blue of the mountains. What I discovered, is that it is the same feeling. Mountains do appear blue, the sky can be green. All the while producing a natural, dreamy landscape. This was a fun print to create.” Danielle is correct that the feeling is the same. Landscapes do have the power to both humble and uplift us. This painting would look wonderful in any interior.
