‘Vineyard Cabin’ is the third painting in the vineyard series. Danielle was particularly interested in how the forests of Oregon met the vineyards. “Here were these little buildings tucked against the ever encroaching forest, appearing as if to hold them back. And at their feet cultivated and farmed vines and land. The space between wild and industry.” Danielle chose a very vibrant color palette, limiting the colors to blue, green and white. The shadows are created with a rich earthy brown. “I wanted to keep the palette very limited. I wanted to express the intensity and simplicity of the colors.” This painting would look fantastic just about anywhere.
