Ink and acrylic

I used a dark background of ink and layered light acrylic paint over for her hair. I wanted to portray an emotion with her eyes closed. Something serene and peaceful. The ink has drips of water on it that give the painting an underwater, dreamy feel. This is a medium sized canvas, yet it is still able to be a statement piece.
