A wonderful dreamy landscape. The colors are vibrant on this one. I particularly like the neon orange next to the pink. Often times I allow the material to speak to me about the outcome. This painting was one of those. I choose colors, textures, and materials I am drawn to that day and push them around until something comes up. Once I ‘catch’ an image, I try to work with that and not change it based on my expectations. This landscape seems dreamlike to me. A place that is familiar, yet still unknown.
