I love nature and I try to photograph what I see. However, I have learned that ‘capturing’ the feeling of a sunset is easier when I paint. The camera never seems to do it justice. The colors of a photograph seem muted and not as bright as in person. When I paint, I want to capture that sight, that feeling. This painting is one of my most vibrant paintings. The landscape is electric with feeling. The lines wobbly and saturated with rich color. This is truly a show stopper of a piece. Meant to make you pause and enjoy its richness for a moment.
