This is a whimsical painting that evokes a playful motion. The ink is thin in places and varies in color from a deep reddish purple to black. The acrylic brushed over in places creates a matte, textured look. Danielle tells us a little bit about her process, “I used ink and alcohol to make the spots. I love how it forms an instant dreamlike quality. The spots give it an ethereal feel. It could be the sky, it could be underwater, or it could be a vision.” The length of this painting is also very striking and would look fantastic on a narrow wall.
