I find a wonderful strength in nature. I grew up in a mountain town where hiking was daily and camping on the weekends a must. This love of the outdoors brought this collection together. I was inspired to do a landscape series with ink. Ink can be very vibrant, yet very thin. Much like a sunset or colored sky, it looks both translucent and vibrant. Acrylic or oil paint is very opaque and solid, ink allows me to play with translucence in a different way.
