The Releasing the Heart series is about being brave in love. “This series sparked from a conversation I had with a single friend who was nervous about falling in love again. I think sometimes the fear of loving and losing holds us back. Love is worth the risk.”

In this series, each painting features a figure that rises above a tumultuous cloud of movement and color and releases the heart with joy and without expectation. The figure seems hopeful, with outstretched arms. Both figures are leaping forward, throwing their heart up and over. The figures seem filled with hope and light. May we all be so brave with love.
