The image is creamy and the limited color palette adds to the whimsicalness of the piece. “This painting was made for Willow restaurant.” Danielle tells us, “The owners asked for something very ‘Portland’ that would work with their blue bathroom. I instantly thought of Mt. Hood. I left the lines blurred in places and then scratched thin lines for detail. I love how when you look at something from far away it completely changes up close. The great thing about painting is that you can mix those perceptions.”
