This is a magical piece. The figures come together over the swirling dark background. The lines of the figures are light and lyrical. The female figure’s flowing hair engulfs them, adding to the underwater feel. Danielle tells how this painting came to be, “I was so frustrated with the painting underneath. I grabbed a bunch of ink and pastel and tried to forget about the old and start anew. I had to dive deep. The two faces coming together popped out at me immediately. I love the idea of deep water connection and this kiss represents that to me.” A wonderful addition to any home.
